This time they propose to strike on Bonfire Night ![]() "The Militant sympathiser who is front-runner to become general secretary of the Unite union yesterday gave the firemen encouragement by saying: ‘My experience is there is no such thing as an irresponsible strike.’ ‘Red Len’ McCluskey, the mastermind of the British Airways walkout, made clear that he will support mass strike action to oppose the Government’s spending plans.
