I think this article by Amanda Platell in the Daily Mail gives an apt description of Imogen

Take the case of Imogen Thomas. Her married lover (another Premier League footballer and supposed ‘family man’) won a gagging order to protect his wife and children while Imogen was named and shamed.

She may be a rather tawdry figure. But why should she be gagged for telling the truth, while a liar and a cheat gets the full protection of the law? Now, thanks to inevitable online speculation about who is hiding behind other injunctions, it is Gabby’s turn to pay the price for another man’s ‘rights’.
