Default Lil Wayne To Retire

Lil Wayne has revealed that he intends to retire in the next few years.

The 'How To Love' rapper said that he felt continuing his music career indefinitely would be unfair to his four children, and hinted that Tha Carter IV may turn out to be his final album.

"I'm bowing out still on top," the 28-year-old told XXL in a recent interview. "I'ma make y'all want me when I retire."

Lil Wayne said that working in the music business requires so much commitment and dedication that he doesn't get to see his children as much as he would like.

"I honestly think [my career] is unfair to my kids. Honestly this is the real truth. So about 30, 31, 32, I gotta get ready [to retire]," he added.

The rapper recently released a new song called 'Dear Anne' online, as a spiritual sequel to Eminem's 'Stan', but has since admitted that he dislikes the track.

Lil Wayne will release his ninth studio album Tha Carter IV on August 29.
