Not news or anything, but someone might be interested.

I was bored and having a nose on google maps and decided to have a look at the old site in Bow, it's now being built on again, most likely something to do with the olympics. It's kind of sad to see, as before it was just overgrown land, but you could see the outline of where the house and garden had been, but now it's as though BB never happened there I'm sentimental I know!!

I'm not sure how to go about posting pics or links etc, but the coordinates are: 51.527573,-0.003079 paste that into google maps you'll get the pic. If you paste it into bing maps and zoom right in, you'll get an image of the site in it's overgrown state.

Funnily enough, that pic on google maps is obviously fairly recent, since it shows the site of the olympic village, but just a few miles away in borehamwood the pic of the current BB site is still the un-built on pre bb water tank. Why couldn't they have just updated it while they were doing the olympic site, then we might have had something to speculate about!!
