It clearly IS affecting Jay more than it's affecting Aaron. Aaron's just getting on with it - whilst the one person who's doing all the moaning and whinging about someone not talking to - is Jay himself.

He's really bothered about it - so much so that he can't get over it, he refers to it every single day. It must be awful for Jay, not getting the attention he so desperately craves from one single person. Seems a bunch of other housemates makes no difference to Jay - it's Aaron's attention he wants.
