If it was a lie to make herself sound more outrageous on the application form, why would she continue the lie(and expand on it) when she was inside the house, knowing full well that she would look bad for it?

Well she was stuck between a rock and a hard place...she goes with it..or admits she lied on her applic form..damned either way....
I don't condone it...but I forgive her for it....we've all done s**t we're ashamed of....one thing doesn't make her a bad person
