Little Mix have the best chance ever of becoming the first group to win The X Factor. Unlike One Direction last year, who's fragile support melted away in the final, these 4 girls have won over a good majority of the viewing public and have an ever increasing fanbase.
Go back to The X Factor poll for last year and you'll see that Matt Cardle topped it with Rebecca Ferguson 2nd and One Direction 3rd. Everyone was expecting One Direction to win but it was just hype, at the end of the day they didn't have the hard core of supporters that Little Mix have got. I did 2 seperate counts of the thousands of comments that were posted on Facebook over the weekend and both times it came out very similar with only 1% difference between the 2 surveys. I've done this before with other reality shows and it's been a really accurate guide as to public opinion. This is how it worked out: Little Mix.................. 36% Marcus Collins........... 30% Amelia Lily................ 23% Misha B................... 11% The only worry would be that the supporters of Little Mix are of a younger demographic than Marcus Collins and it's possible therefore that their supporters won't vote as many times, if at all, and with only 6% between them, that could swing it for Marcus, but as it stands at the moment Little Mix are in with a really big shot at winning. They are a breath of fresh air for the show, and are the only hope of saving us from yet another boring solo artist who will disappear into obscurity after their 12 month recording deal is up. If you're a Little Mix supporter please don't forget to vote and come and 'like' the 'Little Mix to win X Factor 2011' page on Facebook ![]() ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- New updated Facebook figures for this weeks show: Little Mix.................... 36% Marcus Collins............. 24% Amelia Lily.................. 23% Misha B...................... 17% Looks like Little Mix are increasing their lead show by show now, they certainly have an enormous fanbase and they're certainly going to take some stopping in the final next weekend, but for the first time it looks like Amelia Lily could be their nearest challenger instead of Marcus Collins who's support seems to be gradually drifting away, mainly to Amelia Lily and to a lesser extent Misha B, although it looks likely she'll be eliminated later on today which could benefit Amelia enormously. She would need to pick up the majority of Misha's support though if she is to be any sort of threat to those Little Mixers, which at the moment looks unlikely. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Updated figures after Misha B eliminated: Little Mix................ 41% Marcus.................. 33% Amelia Lily.............. 26% --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The latest up to date figures for the final are posted below.
