I just couldnt see anybody but Gary winning his first year as head judge so I was thinking that Marcus would win with Little Mix 2nd.

The Facebook comments told the story, they have never let me down yet and have always been a really good guide as to the outcome of these shows.

Marcus was breathing down the girl's necks (if you'll pardon the expression) but when Amelia Lily came third that sealed it for Little Mix as they picked up almost all of her support and I had them at least 36% in the lead after that.

We didn't know it at the time but it was telling that Marcus didn't 'win' any of the weekly shows which probably shows the girls would have won it anyway even without the Amelia Lily support.

It would be interesting to see what the winning percentage was but it doesn't look like ITV are going to reveal it.
