Former Venezuelan beauty queen Eva Ekvall has died from breast cancer aged just 28.
The mother-of-one died on Saturday in a Houston, Texas hospital after a two year struggle with the disease, her family said.

What a tragic story. I was reading through the comments, and the worst rated ones are people who believe that the chemo/radio/surgery treatments for cancers are often worse than the disease itself. I've seen a few people I know die from cancer and they all died basically from having no immune system (Pneumonia) rather than of organ failure.

I'm not so sure they aren't right when they say the treatments are worse than the disease what do people here think?
