I watched the whole thing about 3 times, I am marveling at how Denise managed to apparently come out of this smelling of roses..........

She reminds me so much of my Alcoholic mum......

Alcoholics are very good at switching the focus away from their own misdemeanor onto something else.

Denise has this art off to a tee..

The key things she did were.
1. Bring Nicola into the argument by talking about getting them out for a living and then citing her shredding the letters.
2. Brought Nicola into the argument regarding the Bumble Bee task.
3. Tried to drive a wedge between Nicola and the twins wrt old comments that she had made about the twins being pigs...

None of which had anything to do with the price of fish...
