Sorry I know that I've not been on here at all recently but I needed somewhere to rant as I've had such a stressful evening looking at car insurance. I now understand what people are talking about when they moan about car insurance - a Ford Fiesta 1.25 (2000) is coming out at about 8K for a year?! Even the band 1 insurance cars are coming out at about 2K and that's about the cheapest I can get it down to. Have been looking at a company that actually fit a box in your car so that you can't drive between 11pm and 5am and that takes my insurance to about £1600 but that's still extortionate! It's actually cheaper to go fully comp believe it or not! Any advice from anyone driving on good companies for young drivers or some hints and tips on cars etc and the most affordable deals.

I've been so busy at college with my a-levels and working out which direction I want to go in next that I've not had time to come on here - looks like forensic psychology seems to be my calling at the moment but that'll change by the time I get round to applying for uni's etc I expect!
