Dannii Minogue to return?
Quote:
We’ve missed Dannii Mingoue from the X Factor juding panel. The amazing ever-changing hair ‘dos, the gorgeous dresses, the genuinely constructive comments she makes.
So, we’re excited to hear that she could make a return to the show this year – although we’re not getting our hopes up that it will actually happen.
Despite the embarrassment a certain unofficial biography about Simon Cowell has caused – you know, the book that revealed Dannii and Simon had a fling – the X Factor boss is reportedly keen to sign up Dannii to return to the singing contest show.
“Simon thinks she’s great. They are still friends. If it works out, then it will be fantastic for The X Factor. No formal offer has yet gone out but this is likely to happen in the next few days,” an insider has told The Sunday Mirror.
“Dannii is the top of ITV’s wish-list for new judges on the show and they are keen to begin official talks,” the source continues. “She is extremely popular among X Factor fans and would still be a big draw.”
The panel for this year’s X Factor has one space left; Gary Barlow has reportedly signed a deal with ITV for a huge £2million, while Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh are reportedly set to sign their contracts this week.
It’s thought Tulisa will bag a bigger pay packet for her second year on the show, with her salary going from £200,000 to £500,000.
It’s looking increasingly unlikely that Kelly Rowland will return – leaving space for Dannii’s possible comeback – with a snitch telling The Sun,
“There’s a chance she could come back, but it looks increasingly slim.Money demands are not the main factor. Kelly didn’t connect with the audience as well as people hoped.”
Filmed auditions are scheduled to begin on 15 May – so it won’t be long before we know for sure who’ll will really be an X Factor judge this year.
