Recently my parents got called into my little brothers school to discuss 'problems' with his GCSE work.

The alleged he had been 'bullying' his french teacher.

Now, anyone who knows my brother knows hes the perfect student. he is straight A in everything and prefers to do his homework than go out with his mates, very odd for a 15 year old really...but its good in the long run.

So they go in to see the head of year who shows them the problem. On a recent GCSE paper for french, one of the questions has been to 'give your opinion on your teachers'. My brother had praised the majority of the teachers, but said that his french teacher was quite 'unpleasant'.

Yeah, that was it. That was the problem they had been making such a big deal of. This is how my straight A 15 year old quiet brother had been BULLYING his teacher

My dad asked, quite rightly too, what they expect when asking that question. he said that was quite mild compared to what he would have wrote at 15 year old about his teachers and that if they do not want the children to be honest, the question should have been 'praise your teachers', not asking for opinions. 'Unpleasant' isnt even really an insult in my eyes tbh either...

Anyway, to cut a long story short, his french GCSE paper thing might be disallowed because of that one comment. However on being graded...yup, you guessed it, it was an A* like the rest of his work.

My dad says if they try to disallow it he will take it further, as its beyond ridiculous. What do you think?
