I just have to say how delighted and happy I am at all of you getting your knickers in a twist over BOTS tonight.
Your indignant Julie hate made me squeal with laughter! You have all taken BOTS so badly that it has made my night that Julie was evicted when she was - it was meant to be! I wouldn't have missed your reactions on this night for the world! Classic!
Julie will go down in history as one of the few best ever CBB contestants - maybe even the Best Ever but the best never win - as we all know - and this is why.....

The public and all of you who are slating her want a generic winner that fits the mould. You all can't deal with somebody who cracks open the hypocrisy that is rife in the house. You all like your winner to 'fit'. Someone who is safe, boring, a victim who along the way finally has the courage to speak out at a late stage - and who is attractive in some way. Not someone who is never boring, never plays it safe, and GOD FORBID has wrinkles and a saggy body - and who speaks out all along in an honest way if only you were smart enough to hear it.

That person was JULIE! She got your goat all right - because she turned your ideas upside down. The disgusting ageist comments about her all over this forum are testament to how many couldn't accept an 'old' person having power. The ageist comments were disgusting, citing dementia, incontinence pads, colostomy bags, etc etc etc. How dare 'an old hag' be such a presence in the house and cause such a stir! How dare she show that she was fiesty, a good sport and could still rock it! Shouldn't she be sitting at home in her rocking chair knitting booties for her grandkids? Why wasn't she a cuddly grandma type who wore a crocheted shawl, didn't curse or smoke and didn't have a personality and opinion of her own? Why did this 'old hag' have the nerve to dominate proceedings at the expense of younger, less wrinkly specimens?

Deny it all you like, but Julie was an awesome HM and the most entertaining and unique presence in the house - but that counts for nothing in the little minds of those who have to have a generic winner.
....Martin? maybe, who has done damn all but smile sweetly, agree with everyone and is topping up his tan in between stirring the **** against Julie. Oh wait, he pulls up Harvey - YES - now we have a reason to let him win!!!

Ashley? Young, energetic? Lets go for him. He is FIT! YAWN!

Coleen? Two faced pot stirrer - but lets pretend we didn't notice because she doesn't like Julie. Yeah - lets go with her to spite that old hag!

Harvey - I won't even go there.

The Sitch? Now we have someone, finally, who I could take as a winner. He's got an enormous ego (the Brits don't like that either!!!) but in a quite endearing way and he has a good heart too. He doesn't do bitching on the whole, and that's good enough for me.

Julian? The kindest, most astute person in the house with real sensitivity. His observations are funny, wry and tongue in cheek. (Can the Brits take his spot on sarcasm?) He loved Julie, he took care of her, and he 'got her' - as many in the public did. He's a calm, steadying influence and has been hilarious in his tasks. Love him!

Are the two above not 'generic' enough to win? I hope not. Well at least they haven't any wrinkles, they are 'young enough' and they are some way off from needing incontinence pads. They won't be a victim of the rampant ageism so prevalent on this forum on this series and which seemed to be a major consideration in any criticism of Julie.

As a Brit myself, can I dare hope that Julian wins....Or even the Sitch....I fear that generic Martin might do it.
