Katie Price reckons she could do a better job of mentoring X Factor star Rylan Clark, apparently.


The model supposedly reckons that Nicole Scherzinger is ruining the 23-year-old, and with her expert(!) help, Rylan could become a household name.

34-year-old Katie, also known as Jordan, has been close pals with Rylan since the show started.

The Essex performer had previously appeared on her Sky1 modeling reality show, finishing as runner up.

A source claimed: “Jordan’s often in contact with Rylan over the phone and has been telling friends that she’s his new mentor.

“She’s slammed into Nicole, saying she’s been having too much fun and London and should have been spending more time with her her acts.”

Speaking to Closer magazine this week, the supposed source said: “Jordan wants to make Rylan an household name and she’s disgusted with the way she feels he’s being criticised.

“She even bragged to pals: ‘I should be a judge on the x factor – my friend Simon knows I can do it.’”

Rylan previously said he wanted to become a brand as big as Katie herself.

He told DigitalSpy: “At the end of the day I don’t want a normal job. I think I’d love to be a brand.

“I’d love to be a household name and I think I’ve achieved that already… I can sing, I can dance, there’s a lot more to me as well, like I love fashion. I’d love to have my own stuff.”
