Ok I can switch off but I am hoping something will change the status quo and give us some light entertainment and fun again. I am sick to death of watching 90% of the show airing his ugly mug. Little wonder the others are labled bores, they cant get any airtime.

First of all they're not "petulant children" (which is a strange statement to make anyway, I never slap my kids around if they misbehave) And you're basically saying that violence is ok if someone annoys you enough?
