Hi, I am Asian, but NOT the stereotyped "Asian" (Pakistani or Indian or the rest of the Desi community).

I just wanted to say, that I am confused, how Indian and Pakistani people call them selfes Asian, why cant they say 'Desi', which is what they are and much more describes them

How can you just say I'm 'Asian' when so are Chinese, Turkish, Arabic, Persians but you dont look like them and there isnt a race that is scientifically called "Asian".

Its every where now, people actually label the UK of being multicultrual via, BLACK, WHITE and ASIAN (desi).
