This was really fascinating for me to make (both as a film maker and as a big brother fan) it really gave me a complete insight into the editing process the goes on over at Channel 5.

Using the same software, and examining an episode of BB13 and an episode of BB9 - I was able to create this.

In 2008, the electric shock task dominated the majority of the episode and that's why it's so well known and loved - because of the drama and quality that came out of it. We had funny moments, great reactions, almighty arguments all around the house after that ask - I did what Channel 5 have been doing since 2011, and squeezed so much of that episode down into a tiny little tacky montage, using un-necessary effects that only make the show camper.

Whilst I have come to be accustomed to Channel 5's way of editing (as it allows for easy episode progression and flow) - I hate the useless effects and ofc the dramatic narrative provided by Marcus Bellend.
