The new head Producer has been announced has familiar with Producing Idol. He's produced the Swedish version of Idol and his name is Per Blankins. Probably expect a bunch of songwriters to make it far then. (I like that)
Also no word on Keith coming or going yet. Also Fox has also hired the production company that does the graphics for the MTV Movie Awards and VMA in recent years to focus mainly on the live shows. So expect a new title sequence and better production during performances. Along with probably more recent songs. Also Season 2's winner Ruben Studdard will be a contestant on the Biggest Loser coming this fall in the US.
