As for the comparison between them, with the exception of the Williams sisters and Maria, none of the Women are close to being as big as the men tbh or generate the same interest etc. I'm all down for same prize money, but as Truth said, 5 sets should be played by both then. 5 Sets>>>3 sets anyway.

and the US Open final last year was just as long as most Men's matches in the tournament.... and off course it matters if 3 sets for women is just as demanding as 5 sets for Men, do you seriously expect Women to play 5 sets when they aren't as athletically gifted as Males? the facts don't lie in nearly every sport in the world the Men hold the World Records and it's probably impossible for a Woman to get anywhere near most of these records but why should a man be paid more for playing a final at his peak best then a woman playing a final at her peak best as well even if the Man at his peak best is playing better tennis? what can the woman possibly do?
