I can see Dezzy's point about not having to worry about him being released in the future; but I think they'd have rather see him sentenced, spend a good few years in jail and then if he'd killed himself they might have been mad but at least he suffered for a while and had time to think about what he did... this is just a cop out and they'll be feeling cheated.
