The 13 colonies were poor people ESCAPING imperialist Britain. They wanted to get as far away as possible. Brave men and women that saw how HORRIBLE Britain was, and wanted the chance to start a new life without being Subjects of the Royal elites. They wanted the opportunity to create their own new land, away from being slaves to the Royals and Lords and Dukes and all that nonsense.

I don't blame them.

The 13 colonies were the first to stand up against and defeat the British Empire. The beginning of the end for the British Empire.
