Default Do Journalists/Paparazzi ever know when to stop?

There was an article I happened upon in the daily mail, talking about Russell Crowe breaking down in tears over the news of a friend of his (Charlotte Dawson a TV personality) recent departure from this world.

On this article were a couple of photographs of him with his kids, looking pretty distraught over the news and it made me think, At what point did whoever took those photo's think to themselves "ah maybe I should just leave them be and let them grieve"? Is it something that you would need to see when reading the article or does it bother you a little that they were there?

What do you think?

I don't know how to work the magic with the article on here but the link is below if anybody does happen to want to have a gander.
