Least shocking news of the decade. Sorry Tom, it's always been obvious. Let's be honest most knew ever since he minced his way with fake tan at 14 around Beijing 2008 Olympics and was really camp.

Tom did this outting deliberately. He knew last year he was going to have to go public with a same sex partner ahead of Splash2. But didn't want to alienate his female fan base - which he did, especially in US and Asia*, but he got publicity and kudos for outting himself in a new celeb way ie YouTube rather than an interview or otted by media scandal.

His sponsors didn't drop him for fear of anti-homophobic backlash but his advertising was reduced and quietly sidelined. His unfeeling "of course I like girls" throw away line in his YouTube outting was so unconvincing it was hilarious. Really dude, really?! Now that everyone has seen his older boyfriend Dustin Lance Black and got used to them strolling arm in arm , licking each others ice cream, he's come out 100% gay, almost the rest of his tween or female fan base has fallen away as no cool girl wants to be seen lusting after a gay guy. Straight blokes are taking the pi$$ out of his female fans who didn't realise he was gay and defended his imagined hetero then bi status. Those lasses that are still fans like him the way women like Graham Norton.
