Winston wasn't being a prick to Helen - he was standing up to her, not backing down. I would do exactly the same if I was in his situation. Why should everyone automatically shut up whenever Helen starts to get angry and constantly feel they're treading on eggshells? If people disagree with her, they have every right to say so and if she doesn't like it, she can always leave. Noone's stopping her
It's funny how in the diary room a second before she was saying how she's learned to control her temper and then starts getting angry about something that is actually none of her business (Mark and Christopher's disagreement is between them, nothing to do with her). She really hasn't learn anything since she's gone in there apart from how to bite her tongue when she's at risk of being ejected from the show.
