It's not backstabbing but she's done the reverse on her happy flappy drunken spiel the other night.

She's not bitter, she wishes everyone well, she'd be happy for everyone, she actually likes everyone beneath their negatives.

Helen's gone, let rip.

The secret room has had its desired effect, made them feel comfortable that their time living with her is over. This twist is working a little too effectively, almost staged.
