SIGH

Forty-three animals have been killed in a suspected arson at Manchester Dogs' Home.
A boy whose age remains unclear has been arrested on suspicion of arson. Greater Manchester Police said the blaze was being "dampened down" but confirmed dozens of dogs had been killed. Residents said they could hear "dogs yelping". Twitter user @Hoyles10 said: "Big fire at Manchester Dogs Home, apparently the building has collapsed, too late for the animals by all accounts...Heartbreaking." Fellow user @MostonRedDevil wrote: "Manchester dogs home is on fire with all the dogs yelping." More than 20 firefighters are battling the blaze at the charity's rehoming centre in Harpurhey. The home has cared for more than one million dogs since it was established in 1893. It has capacity for hundreds of dogs. A police spokesman said: "We have received lots of calls from people who want to look after any dogs which have been left without a home. We are not sure at this stage what help is needed." Literally shaking with rage. Absolutely heartbreaking.
