..maybe the dad is just getting used to this 'rules' thing with his daughter and needs to take a firmer hand with it...these young girls Mock, they would drive you crazy if you let them.....it's a shame you didn't know her to talk to and you could just say..hey, with this music, it's great but at a lower volume would be good..?..or is she only around 5yrs old or something....
