Because it's obviously not the be all and end all of music It's just that vocal ability is a measurable thing - Christina and Whitney and Mariah are lauded because of their technical ability, their range, whatever - and whilst I'm not comparing Andrea to them, he technically is pretty faultless. You can say it's too loud or OTT for your tastes but saying it's "just shouting" is really childish and ignorant.
