| The voice of reason | Note the cable ties A schoolboy was ‘excluded’ from World Book Day celebrations after turning up for lessons in a Fifty Shades of Grey costume. Liam Scholes, 11, arrived at Sale High School dressed as Christian Grey - wearing a suit and carrying cable ties and an eye mask. Mum Nicola Scholes, 36, said she received a call from teachers saying the costume was inappropriate and he would not be allowed to participate in themed events and a class photograph. Nicola, a primary school teacher, said the costume was no worse than others depicting fictional serial killers and violent characters. She said: “We thought it was funny. We were walking home from school and he had the idea of going as Christian Grey. One of the teachers went dressed as Dexter and I don’t see why sex is seen as more offensive than murder." http://www.manchestereveningnews.co....d-book-8782981 The school suggested that he pretend to be ruthless promiscuous killer James Bond instead! How do you feel about this? | |||
