Earth, Wind & Fire star Maurice White has passed away at the age of 74.
The singer died in Los Angeles on Thursday morning following a long battle with Parkinson's disease. He was diagnosed in 1992 but his condition deteriorated recently, reports TMZ. In 1994 he was forced to stop touring with the US soul band, who had a string of hits including September, Boogie Wonderland, Fantasy, Shining Star, and After the Love Has Gone.
