Gun ownership is declining in Switzerland it stands at about 25% now as apposed to the ~45% of Americans, extrapolate the population figures and you see how many guns there are in each country. The majority of guns in Switzerland are because most men are conscripted into the army, anyone else who wishes to buy a gun had to undergo psychological evaluation something which doesn't happen in the US, which is why there's so many ****ing nut jobs shooting people
