I think like Andy said, they needed a villain and they both certainly fit the bill. I wonder if their downfall was being too smug and overly confident about their union (the clique). We usually see these cliques, but I think they might have come off
too friendly towards one another that it made quite a few of them look like gameplayers.
I think that without Lateysha and Ryan there, they were forced to play the game differently and that put everyone on more equal terms. Andy wasn't a target anymore because they couldn't afford to look like bullies to the public since they didn't have their carefully arranged firing line of charismatic characters to back up the lack of participation from some of the more laid back HM's (Alex, Evelyn, Sam, etc)
Hughie earned his place as a runner up because he played the game, but let's be honest, so did Jason. I think the boot order was about right this year... Jayne should've at least beat Evelyn and Jackson imo. She was quite the character and contributed a lot throughout her time in the house. She didn't play a ruthless game either which I was surprised by.
Jackson was the only wasted space in the final imo. Maybe those viewers were high and thought they were going to bring back Bob Marley's spirit
