What is actually wrong with people? Blocking the aisles to try and get their bags?
![]() Flight crew shout at travellers rummaging in overhead lockers to leave their possessions and escape the burning plane. Cabin crew screamed at passengers trying to grab their belongings to "leave your bags" as an Emirates jet caught fire on the runway at Dubai. Phone footage shows chaotic scenes as passengers jostle to open overhead lockers after the plane crash-landed on Wednesday. "Leave everything, leave everything, leave the bags!" shouts a member of crew as he commands passengers to jump down the emergency slide. Screams can be heard as people are herded towards the exits, with a female crew member - sounding exasperated - urging: "Jump! Jump Jump! Leave your bags behind!" Hero pilot Chris Henkey criticised passengers for trying to get their possessions before escaping a British Airways plane blaze at Las Vegas airport last September. The Dubai footage, filmed by Rehan Quereshi, shows flames taking hold as he escapes the burning jet and tumbles on to the runway tarmac. Crying children can also be heard as panicked travellers urge others to "Go, go go!" down the slide. Firefighter Jassim Eissa al-Baloushi died trying to put out the fire, which reportedly happened after a problem with the landing gear forced an emergency landing. The Emirates CEO confirmed there were no fatalities among the passengers or crew, who were safely evacuated. http://news.sky.com/story/crew-screa...-fire-10521987
