The cast is just plain bad and bloated with too much fodder, and the narrative is a complete mess. I know Cambodia loves to jerk itself off to being a huge EVOLUTION OF THE GAME (as does MvGX), but Cook Islands really piloted that whole shtick of inconsistent edits and dropped storylines. Like, remember when Cristina went from adorable underdog to annoying phony who no one liked the very next episode? It was like they assigned one person from the editing team to edit each episode in a vacuum, and then they just pieced the season together without double checking anything.
