He sees Callum as a big threat...he is slightly intimidated by Calum because Calum has a lot of respect in the house. Calum is pretty cool in his demeanour and not a hot head like James J. Their votes for each other on Friday were not in jest..they were meant to subject the other to some sort of punishment.
james J doesn't know how to get a rise out of Calum so maybe by attacking Jamie was a means of getting a reaction from his bosom buddy.
JJ is starting to grate and the tide may turn. Kim will be a target for him now but no one will defend her if she keeps rubbing the others up the wrong way.
