Not a songwriter was trying to spread festivity
Politics and terrorism had ruined twenty sixteen
Brexit, Trump and rape allegations and everything inbetween
But then one plucky member came along, he went by the name of Jake
There was HBK1984 reference for goodness' sake
Soon the drinks flowed and Josy was then quite merry
She even talked herself out of handing a winter ban to Cherie
"Whatever awful happens next year", one thing we can all agree,
she cried "there'll always be Christmasvision on TiBB."

- If you want to take part, reply to this thread with the country you want! But please, if you do reserve a country, I expect an entry.
- As usual, all applicants must produce their own song. This usually takes the form of a funny parody of an existing song.
- Lyrics, an artist name and song title are all that's required.
- However, the majority of past participants have opted to include wardrobe designs, stage designs, or even an audio/video recording.
- Members may only represent one country.
- Given recent hostile surroundings, I ask that no members who're banned are used as subject matter in your songs - this rule was in the 2014 edition but hey, wouldn't you know? It's still appropriate!

You have just over two months to create your entries... please make them as entertaining as possible, and please don't feel afraid to take part The more entries, the more fun it is to run. Songs can be about anything you like, and whilst we are fairly liberal with what is deemed "in good taste" obviously a song containing 30 different death threats may well find itself lost in my inbox and doomed never to enter

The winner of this glorious festivity shall also receive a lifetime supply of Nyx cosmetics this darling little award, already shared by TiBB legends such as Dezzy, Niamh, and, uh, PJ! - - so if that isn't motivation to bring your A game idk what is.
