This is my area of work. I work for the government and travel to Israel a lot. If No.10 didn't know about Patel's visit I'd be
very surprised. If they did and they are denying it... sounds more plausible.
Still, it gives Mrs May a chance to lurch away from yesterday's problem and collapse on to this one.
