Default Former Tory MP Charlotte Leslie signs up

Quote:
A GLAMOROUS Tory famed for her red ‘Baywatch’ swimsuit is entering Celebrity Big Brother in a “big money” deal.

Charlotte Leslie, former MP for Bristol North West, has agreed to star on the reality show in January and will pocket a six-figure fee.

The pro-Brexit politician, 39, has been snapped up by Channel 5 bosses who want strong women to kick off the series. Male celebs will join days later.

Leslie, who was once named the ‘sexiest MP in parliament’, is a keen swimmer and has famously posed in a Baywatch style bathing suit.

Last night a source told The Sun: “January’s series will mark 100 years since women won the vote and is all about, strong, empowered women.

“Channel 5 bosses have been desperate to sign a female politician and they are thrilled that they’ve managed to land Charlotte. Not only is she opinionated and intelligent, she’s very attractive.”

Leslie, who was born in Liverpool and is a vicar’s daughter, split from her BBC radio host fiance John Davell last year.

She lost her seat in June’s snap election.

Channel 5 newsreader India Willoughby, 51, has also signed up.
