That's a very biased selection of comments MB. I saw a lot more people focused on his role as mayor and his shortcoming than anything racist as you seem to insinuate. Of course there are a few idiots spouting racism but those vile comments are few and far between compared to sensible comments.

Ridiculous that the Trump balloon is being allowed. Unbelievable insult to a country we call an ally.
If this treatment was rolled out to leaders of Saudi Arabia and others who have appalling human rights records etc I might understand to a degree but even then I don't think it's an acceptable way to protest. Let's see if Mr Kahn can take it like he dishes it out........he certainly does not speak on my behalf.

Sadiq Khan’s policies that he has solely pioneered has left London in the worst state ever for knife crime and violence. Sick of his excuses, persecution of Israel and of a democraticly elected President that the UK working class would benefit from his visit. Khan is a disgrace.

Khan is arrogant in officially recognising what is an insult to the leader of the largest economy in the world he does not speak for me, it is the height of poor taste and will damage our ability to get a deal with the US. Why is there no Putin baby? After all he has actively attacked this country. How would we like it if republicans started flying insulting balloons when our Royals visit other countries. Brilliant idea! I hope it goes ahead and proves to Mr Khan that he is just as disapproved of as Mr Trump is by some. The fact that he allowed the Trump baby to go ahead is embarrassing for the country and I hope this will embarrass him!
