...she was born and raised in Brazil, I think..?...and possibly in poverty...so everything she says is quite plausible and I think probably true...but I would guess that a Brazilian single mother would be working her body to the bone as well and probably didn’t have the energy for affection that some childhoods would have had...so her childhood probably didn’t stand out as being anything ‘unique’ in comparison to those around her...except that she obviously had a single parent, which would have made it a little more difficult, I would think...that’s not an excuse from taking the conversation from the others when talking about their own families and the close bonds they have...
