I’m starting to think that Oates’s new direction for Ben is to turn him into another male psycho that she loves so much so that she can keep doing her male mental health stories which is fine and all but Ben had his own mental health story happening before she decided to recast him.

The whole Ben storyline is so dumb, he's basically a completely different character and it's just to suit the purposes of a very uninteresting storyline.
