9 seasons, all that anticipation of finding out who the mother is, for her to just be killed off in the series finale was just tragic. Then surprise surprise, Ted still has feelings for Robin, which we knew about 3 or 4 seasons prior
The whole of series 9 was just a drab as well, I didn’t find any of it as funny as the first few seasons.
Honestly the show should’ve just been called:
‘How I Met Robin, broke up with her, didn’t admit our feelings for the next 23 years and then wait for my kids approval to date her again’
