Haha I wasn’t responsible for this decision, I’ve been on holiday since Sunday and am not back until the end of September, so the ceremony won’t be until then, so that’s why the 8th was decided, to stretch it out slightly.

I’d like to tweak the format a lot to make it a lot better should we do another next year

Yes I agree with Mitch. Will learn from my mistakes with this edition of the game to make it much better next time. The format needs streamlining for sure. But we've done our best for a first effort. Please continue to vote your top tens. It will be open for quite a while this time I promise

What’s the correlation between saying gold leaf doesn’t add anything to a dish and not dining at posh restaurants.

You can go fine dining and not like gold leaf
