I agree this happens....its a nightmare though. My mum looked after all the household finances, cooking etc etc and when she passed my dad was in a terrible mess.....he literally had no clue how to pay a bill....let alone cook for himself. He needed some intensive lessons on how to run his life.....my mum did everything, he even needed telling gow to change a plug. Partnership is everything but you've also got to know your partners roles too

It's fine to work as a team and each have their "roles" they do, but relying solely on another person to do things isn't a good step.

There are hundreds of thousands of Asian women living in the UK who are "tradwives" without any choice at all. They're the women I'm concerned about, not women who rightfully choose to be a traditional wife and mother.

Hmm I'm not convinced that this #tradwife thing is really about women just choosing to be a stay at home wife/mother though. The intent seems to be to have a go at anyone who ISN'T doing that.

Stay at home mother/father is the term used more widely these days, housewife sounds a bit odd, like you're married to your house

Well yes, its all tit for tat these days, I heard someone yesterday describe politics these days as people wanting to be on the winning side rather than voting for policies, I think it’s rather apt

100%. I don't get why people would be loyal to a political party either, I mean why? You don't owe these people anything, surely Policy is the the only part that affects you?
