Default Man hits crying toddler in head in Luton bus attack...

A crying toddler was hit on the back of the head and shouted at while travelling on a bus in what police have called a "truly shocking incident".

The assault took place when the 19-month-old was in a pushchair next to her mother at about 2:50pm on Tuesday.

Police have issued CCTV images of a man they want to speak to over the attack on the number 29 bus in Luton, Bedfordshire.

PC Carolyn Hoare said: "We will not tolerate this kind of behaviour in our county.

"This is a truly shocking incident where a baby was assaulted on a bus in broad daylight."

"We are asking the man pictured in the CCTV images, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward as we believe he could help us with our enquiries."
