We were supposed to go to Iceland (flights booked in February etc) before getting married, but we're going to Brittany in France instead, stay in a nice beach house on the northern coast, hike in nature and chill....if we're not back in lockdown in September
We wanted to go to Jersey and Guernsey while we are up there, but we are limiting overseas travels.

...the wedding still all as planned, though..?..we were going to a wedding in France in June but it’s now October, which I hope will go ahead...so, so disappointing when so many plans have taken so long in the making...

Yes, it was already planned for October because we wanted a fall wedding! I know so many people wanted to get married in 2020 but it's all been delayed until next year or this winter. I understand the frustration because planning a wedding is nothing but easy At least we don't have to worry about delaying...unless a second wave is preventing us from it!

...yeah, I think it was probably a really busy year for weddings as it just has great symmetry......and it’s an easy year to remember for anniversaries...how can you forget that we got married in 2020 dear..!!.....the wedding we were going to had been the 20th June as well, so that really flowed in terms of the date and that was part of choosing it...they may still have got (secretly) married actually because that part of it is a separate thing at a registry office, the quests attending is essentially more the celebration and sharing and that will now be in October ..(..hopefully...)...I hope there is no second wave or anything to prevent your wedding from going ahead with the fall wedding of your dreams ...and with the guy of your dreams......this time has been so stressful for everyone but for sure, you know that if you love each other in lockdown then you’re meant to be together...I hope that your day is beautiful and everything you’ve hoped it to be...and I think it will be, for you and for your guy and for both of your families and friends../..those sharing it with you...Absorb and enjoy every moment of it, it’s a very special day.....

That's so kind, thanks a lot! Fingers crossed it's going to be alright!
I think the lockdown somehow made me less stressed about it, now it's more like "well at least we're all together and the main thing is getting married".
We'll have a last vacation before, the last one before, just to really make sure we should do it, so it better be working out fine
