How could the government give any funding in June to Councils to help cover the costs of free meals in school holiday periods.
When the government policy is, and still is, NOT to provide free meals to schoolchildren in school holidays.
Why is the fact, it is this government's policy that school meals should not be provided in school holidays constantly avoided.
They just voted against extending free meal schemes in the school holidays.
