I think the reality of choosing to transition when you have a partner must include accepting that they may no longer be sexually attracted to you. But also, you'd assume that anyone in a GOOD relationship would have those conversations long before any actual physical transition started.
You do of course get those who claim its "transphobic" for a lesbian woman (or gay man) to no longer be sexually interested in someone once they've changed gender... Which obviously is nonsense.
And then there's the elephant in the room even for those who are bisexual/pansexual; an attractive woman does not necessarily transition to being an attractive man, an attractive man does not necessarily make an attractive woman. And vice versa, actually; many look objectively better.
