Well it's the normal price for that hotel, it was a 5* and we booked it in January while everything was still locked down, i think once they officially announced that hotels could reopen prices may have gone up, saying that though we've booked 4 nights away for next month (in 2 different hotels) and the prices were still pretty reasonable tbf

It's actually sickening that people can and would pay that much

i spent £800 a night one trip and we were upgraded to an absolutely magic suite that would normally be double that price. It was pretty special, but it goes against the thrifty scotsman in me
